Governor Tate Reeves appoints new Board members
On September 28, 2026, Governor Tate Reeves announced four new appointments to the Mississippi Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers & Surveyors. Appointed to the board are the following:
First Supreme Court District: Post 1 – Ron Cassada, PE/PS
Mr. Cassada will fill the post previously held by former Board Member Sarah M. Tracy, PE. He has been appointed to complete an unexpired balance of a four-year term set to expire on June 30, 2028.
First Supreme Court District: Post 4 – Catherine "Colby" Willis White, PE
Mrs. White will fill the post previously held by former Board Member Joe E. Lauderdale, PE. She has been appointed to complete an unexpired term and then reappointed with a term to set to expire on June 30, 2031.
Second Supreme Court District: Post 8 – Larry Saucier, PS
Mr. Saucier replaces Board member Patrick Martino, PS. He has been appointed to a four-year term set to expire on June 30, 2029.
Third Supreme Court District: Post 6 – David Bowman, PE
Mr. Bowman will fill the post previously held by former Board Member Dr. Dennis D. Truax, PE. He has been appointed to a four-year term set to expire on June 30, 2029.
In addition to these new appointments Governor Reeves also reappointed the following Board members:
First Supreme Court District: Post 7 - Michael Blake Collins, PS
His new term is set to expire on June 30, 2028. Mr. Collins currently serves as Board President.
Second Supreme Court District: Post 2 - William "Bill" Mitchell, PE
His new term is set to expire on June 30, 2029. Mr. Mitchell currently serves as Board Treasurer and Secretary.
Second Supreme Court District: Post 5 - Steven A. Twedt, PE
His new term is set to expire on June 30, 2028. Mr. Twedt currently serves as Board Vice President.
Third Supreme Court District: Post 3 - Carey Hardin, PE
His new term is set to expire on June 30, 2030. Mr. Hardin is the immediate past President of the Board.
Third Supreme Court District: Post 9 - Clint Tidwell, PS
His new term is set to expire on June 30, 2030.
By law, all Board Members serve until reappointed or replaced.
